When I first looked into your eyes (your eyes)

I knew you were the one (the one)

The friend I always dreamed of was you.

After that moment I needed some space to think over your dreams.

Now when I look into anybody’s eyes I will think of you.

I know that month was hard for you cos your mum and dad split up (split up)

But I helped you and soon you were in touch (in touch)

And then we had a brilliant month because it was your birthday (birthday)

We went on a summer holiday and that’s where it all ended (ended)

You lost me and I lost you and that was the sad part about it.

I thought we would keep in touch but I didn’t get a call.

So we both carried on with our life and we met each other again,

Now we are best friends til the end.
